Pat Kalisz, 91, of 16 Siara St, Adams, died Saturday afternoon at the Transitional Care Center at North Adams Regional Hospital. He was bom in Grafton, on April 3, 1907, a son of the late John and Mary (Filip) Kalisz and came to Adams as a child and attended St Stanislaus Elementary School. Mr. Kalisz last worked as an assembler and group leader in the power transformer division of the General Electric Pittsfield, retiring in 1972 after 40 years service. Mr.

Kalisz also served for several years with Company of the Massachusetts National Guard in Adams. He was a communciant of St Stanislaus Kostka Church, Adams, and a member of die St Stanislaus Kostka Society since 1927. He was also a member of the General Electric Quarter Century and Pensioners clubs and the East Hoosac Athletic Association. He is survived by his wife of 66 byears, the former Sophie Leja, who he married on Oct 5, 1931, in St Stanislaus Kostka Church. He is also survived by one son, Henry J.

Kalisz of Williamstown; one daughter, Miss Marcella A Kalisz at home; two sisters, Mrs. Thaddeus (Daisy) Golec and Mrs. William (Victoria) Smith, both of Adams; two grandchildren, John Kalisz of Beilin, N.Y., and Mrs. Mary Boyle of Bronxville, N.Y.; and several by a Liturgy of Christian Burial at 10 a.m., in St Stanislaus Kostka Church. Burial will follow in St Stanislaus Kostka Cemetery, Adams.

Calling hours are today, 5-8 p.m., at the funeral home. Josephine Levesque A Liturgy of Christian Burial for Josephine Levesque who died Friday morning will be Tuesday, 10 a.m., in Notre Dame des Septr Douleurs Church, Adams, preceded by a prayer service at 9:30 in the McBride Funeral Home, 2-8 Liberty Adams. -Born in Winooski, Vt, July 11, 1924, she was the daughter of the late Alphonse and Cecile (Vien) Lanoue. She received her education in Bennington. Mrs. Amadon was a graduate of St Josephs Business College. 30, 1946. In earlier years, Mrs. Amadon was employed at Union Carbide Corporation and H.M. Tuttle Company, also at Meyers Coal Company which was located at Bennington Potters. Later, she owned and operated Amadons Nursery School on Silver Street for 26 years.

Mrs. Amadon was a member of Sacred Heart St Francis de Sales Church and was a member of St Annes Society at the church. She also served as Eucharistic Minister, a lector, and was a member of the choir. Mrs. Amadon enjoyed her collectible dolls and knitting.

Survivors include her husband, Gerald H. Amadon of Bennington; Elizabeth A (Cermanara) Fbote, of Windsor Lake Road, North Adams, died Friday evening at North Adams Regional Hospital, shortly after being stricken at home. Mr. Joseph N. Vigna 63, of 27 Fbrest Park Adams, died Saturday while vacationing in West Yarmouth, Mass. Death was attributed to a heart attack. Mr.

Vigna, a well-known educator and local sports figure, was bom August 3, 1935, in Adams, son of Stella Sikora Vigna and the late Joseph N. Vigna Sr. He was educated in the Adams public schools, attending the Renfrew Grammar School, C.T. Plunkett Jr. High School and was a graduate of the former Adams Memorial High School, Class of 1954.

Mr. Vigna entered the U.S. Navy and served in the Racific-Asiatic region aboard the CVA 12, U.S.S. Aircraft Carrier Bennington. Upon completion of his sea duty, he entered and received a bachelors degree in education from Springfield College and later a masters degree in education from Westfield State College.

He entered the education field with a position in the Instructional Department of Arms Academy. He subsequently became associated with Adams Cheshire Regional School District where he was a coordinator with the guidance department in the Plunkett School and later with the Hoosac Valley High School guidance department Later, he was chosen to fill the position of principal in the Clarksburg school system and left that system for employment with the Massachusetts Department of Education where he became regional director in the Pittsfield office. Mr. Vigna then went into semi-retirement holding a position as' director of the Southern Berkshire Collaborative in special needs. The High Sheriff of Berkshire County, Carmen C.

Massimiano, sought Mr. Vigna out and installed him as supervisor of the rehabilitation program at the Berkshire County House of Corrections and made him a deputy sheriff. He last vocation was as coordinator of the Berkshire Countv Special Olympics. Joseph N. Vigna Jr.

Mr. Vigna was a member of Notre Dame-St Thomas Parish, Adams Lions Club, the Massachusetts Teachers Association, a former member of the Adams Housing Authority and the towns Selectmans Advisory Committee. He was a three-letter athlete while in high school and later assisted the late coach, Chet Zabek, as coach of the high school teams. He was also varsity basketball coach for several years. Mr.

Vigna was the widower of the former Elaine Bouchard who died July 28, 1996. The couple were married June 16, 1956, in St Thomas Acquinas Church. Besides his mother, Stella Vigna of Williamstown, he is survived by three sons: Stephen of Franklin, and David and Jeffrey Vigna, both of Adams, and a grandson, Matthew Roberts, also of Adams. A Liturgy of Christian Burial will be Wednesday, Sept 9, at 10 am, in St Thomas Acquinas Church. Burial will follow in Bellevue Cemetery.
