Wilbur was killed in World War II, died Sunday at Putnam Memorial Hospital.

She was born in Cornwall, Ontario, November IS, 1896, daughter of Michael and Elizabeth Reilly Reardon. She was educated in Canadian schools and came to this country at an early age. She resided in White Creek since 1949 and is survived by her husband, Walter F. Greenwood of White Creek; two daughters, Mrs. Dawn Griffin of Hoosiek Falls and Mrs. Barbara Butler of Vermont: a sister. Mrs.

Jackie Rivard of Lake Placid: a brother. Michael Reardon of Ontario, eight grandchildren and six great grandchildren. Services were held Wednesday from Mahar Funeral Home, and at 10 in Church of the Immaculate Conception where the Liturgy of Christian Death and Burial was offered. Burial was in St. Marys Cemetery.

SiF Residents Keeping Busy CAMBRIDGE Friday afternoon, April 16 the cooking club at the Skilled Nursing Facility of Mary McClellan Hospital, under the direction of Mrs. Frances Cronin, made cakes and punch which the patients enjoyed. Cooking club members are Mmes. Elsie Schnie-ble, Daisy Harris, Florence Groesbeck, Margaret Mulligan, Anne Safford, who havent forgotten the skills they learned over the years. At a meeting of the Residents Assn, on April 13, Mrs.

Janice Sassi, a nurse in the Concentrated Care Unit of the hospital, was awarded a basket containing a complete ham dinner: a 12-pound ham and everything to go with it right down to soap to wash the dishes. Mrs. Betty Smith, president of the association, was ill so Harold Lincoln presided. Mrs. Lynn Kruger received a gift certificate from Beers Florists.

Warrant Officer and Mrs. Douglas Niles, Karl and Kelly of Hopkinsville. Ky. spent several days here visiting friends and relatives during the Easter holidays. The Jcrmain Community Hall Committee will sponsor a public square dance at the hall on Saturday, April 24 at 8:30 p.m.

Miss Heather Niles spent the weekend with her sister and husband, Mr. and Mrs. David Lamb in Chittenago, Mr. and Mrs. Charles Herrington and Miss Maureen Hulihan spent Easter with Mr.

and Mrs. James Billed in Berlin. Mrs. Marion Knapp of Bennington spent the weekend with her daughter and family, the Claude Hoards. Weekend guests of Mr.

and Mrs. John Latham were her brother, Dr. Albert Stun-kard of Philadelphia and her father, Horace W. Stunkard P.H.D. of New York City.

Prof. Stunkard is Professor Emeritus of New York University, a professor of biology and past president of New York Academy of Science. HOOSICK FALLS James E. Kristjansen, 83. a retired machinist at the former Noble Jit Wood Machine and a 56 year member of Van Rensselaer Lodge, FJkAM, died Sunday at the Pittsfield, Mass.

Hites Held for Miss Blanrhfield SALEM Miss Loretta M. Bianchfield. 83, died April 16 in Glens Falls Hospital. A retired school teacher, she taught for many years in Albany public schools. She was a member of the Holy Cross Church of Salem, Catholic Daughters ot America, Salem Womens Club and Salem Senior Citizens.

Survivors include several cousins. Services were held Monday afternoon at the Holy Cross Church, Salem, by the Rev. James Pritchard, pastor. Interment was in Holy Cross Cemetery. The family has suggested that any memorials be made in the form of contributions to the Salem Rescue Squad.

Asahel Salmon Services Held NORTH BENNINGTON Funeral services for Asahel Salmon, a native of Hoosiek Falls, who died Wednesday, April 14, at his home here, were held Saturday at his residence on School Street, with the Rev. Matthew Broadbent, pastor of the North Bennington Congregational Church, officiating. Burial was in Grandview Cemetery, North Bennington. Sica was called to investigate an accident Friday afternoon at about 4 p.m. at the intersection of North Park and East Main Streets. A vehicle operated by Thomas Coon of Kent, Conn, was in collision with a vehicle operated by Judith Wooddell of Cambridge. The Coon vehicle was traveling south on Route 22 and had entered the intersection of North Park and East Main Streets when it was in collision with the Wooddell car which was attempting a left hand turn onto East Main. Kevin Coon, age 9, received a bump on the head and was taken to Mary McClellan Hospital.

He had been thrown against the windshield. Mr. Kristjansen was born in Hoosiek Falls. December II, 1893, son of the late Karl and Karoline Kristjansen. He was educated in local schools. He retired in 1963.

He was a member of the Doaks. Survivors include his wife, the former Catherine Wolfunt of Hoosiek Falls and one son, Harold Kristjansen. of Poughkeepsie, and three grandchildren. He was also brother of the late Alfred and Harold Kristjansen and the late Agnes Kristjansen. Funeral Services were held Wednesday at 2 p.m.

at the Kobson-Decker Funeral Home, with the Rev. Robert J. Sprunger. pastor of the First United Church, officiating. Burial was in Maple Grove Cemetery.

Officers and members of the Masons conducted their memorial service at the funeral home on Tuesday night. Calling hours were held Tuesday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Memorial contributions were suggested to the Town of Hoosiek Rescue Squad, care of the funeral home. Mrs. Frank Is Returned Here For Burial CAMBRIDGE Services for Mrs.

Phyllis Frank. 61 of Hudson Falls, who died April 9 in Glens Falls Hospital, were held April 13 at the Carleton Funeral Home. Hudson Falls, by the Rev. George Bishop, pastor of the First Baptist Church. Interment was in Woodlands Cemetery, Cambridge.

Mrs. Frank was born June 10. 1914 in Cambridge, daughter of Louis and Effie Nichols Coqlter and was the wife of Lowell Frank, whom she married on December 21. 1940. For the past 24 years she had resided at 5 Prospect Hudson Falls, and was employed for 15 years on the maternity floor.

Glens Falls Hospital. She was a former member of the Hudson Falls United Methodist Church. Survivors in addition to her husband, are two sons. Nick of Fort Edward and Brad of Glens Falls; three daughters, Mrs. Paul Kelley of Medina.

Ohio. Laurie and Kathy Frank of Hudson Falls; five grandchildren; two sisters, Mrs. Arthur Gallup of Boynton Beach, and Mrs. John Davis of Cambridge. Memorial for Mrs.

He was born in Cambridge, son of Rena Bulson Sherman of West Hoosiek and the late Forrest Sherman. He was an Army veteran of 15 years and was the first American soldier to cross the 38th Parallel during the Korean War.

For his heroism he received a Bronze medal. Mr. Sherman was employed by Macys, Colonie. Survivors, in addition to his mother, are his wife, the former Joan Cooneo; a son, Michael Sherman; three daughters, Mrs. Rena Melvin, Marsha Sherman of Fitchburg, Mrs.

Joseph Langlois in Hawaii; two granddaughters; two brothers, Robert of Waterv-liet, Richard Sherman of West Hoosiek; a sister, Mrs. Wentworth Roose, West Hoosiek. Services were conducted Saturday in Cohoes by the Rev. Clifford Gilson, Baptist pastor. Interment was in West Hoosiek Cemetery.

BEECROFT RITES CAMBRIDGE Services for Thomas Beecroft, 94, who died Tuesday, will be conducted Friday at 2 in Charles Ackley Funeral Home by the Rev. Arthur Bagley. Burial will be in Woodlands Cemetery. He is survived by a niece, Adelaide Clark, and a nephew, Fayette Montgomery of HAYNES INC. The Youth Choir were Mr. Waananen Dies at 83 CAMBRIDGE Lauri W. Waananen, 83, died April 16 in Mary McClellan Hospital. He was born in Finland August 15, 1892, son of Aaro and Helena Koponen Waananen. A retired carpenter, he had resided in Shushan-Cambridge area for many years.

Surviving are his wife, the former Ida Raivio; a son, Lauri of Pittsfield, a step-son, William H. Koponen of Lake Worth, six grandchildren, and a greatgrandchild. Services were conducted Monday at Charles A. Ackley Funeral Home, by the Rev. Fergus Cochran, pastor of Shushan United Presbyterian Church.

Interment was in Woodlands Cemetery. Memorials may be to Washington County Heart Fund. Burial Services for Dorothy Coleman HOOSICK FALLS Buria! services for Dorothy Senger Coleman were held Friday, April 16, at Maple Grove Cemetery, Hoosiek Falls. Mrs. Coleman was the former Dorothy Harriet Senger of Hoosiek Falls.

She was the daughter of Herman Senger and Anna Hess Senger. She was born in Jersey Citv. N.J. on Christmas Day, 1908. She was a graduate of Hoosiek Falls High School, class of 1927.

She also graduated from the Albany Children's Hospital in 1929 and the New York Hospital, N.Y.C., class of 1933. She had been a registered nurse in the state since 1933. She was the widow of Edward F. Coleman of New York City. Father Joel Miller officiated at the interment.

Hatcher, 86, brother of Mrs. Emily Von Haggin of Hoos-ick Falls, were held Saturday at the Mason Funeral Home in Lansingburgh. He died Wednesday, April 14, at Leonard Hospital, Troy. Burial was in Albany Rural Cemetery.

He was born in Cohoes, son of the late Charles and Jennie Wilder Hatcher. He was a retired employee of the Watervliet Arsenal. He was a life member of Co. 105th Infantry National Guard and was a World War I vetaran. He was a member of the Masons and other fraternal and social organizations.

He was husband of the late Rebecca O'Neil. Other survivors include a brother, Charles Hatcher, of Selkirk, two nieces and two nephews. Mrs. Barnes, 63, Succumbs TROY -Mrs. Julia Walsh Barnes.

63, sister of Alexander Marbot of Buskirk, died Monday at her home at 294 Fifth Troy. She had operated a beauty salon in Lansingburgh for 10 years prior to her retirement last year. She was a communicant of St. Augustines Church in Troy. Other survivors include a son, Todd Walsh of California; two daughters.

Mrs. Mitler of Ballston Lake and Miss Elizabeth Walsh of Latham; a sister. Miss Marie Marbot, and another brother. Charles Marbot of Troy. Funeral services are scheduled for today, Thursday, at 9:30 a.m.

at the John J. Sanvidge Funeral Home, Troy, and at 10 a.m. at St. Augustines Church. Burial will be in St.

Mary's Cemetery, Trov. CAMBRIDGE A memorial service for Mrs. Elizabeth Soley, who died March 25, has been arranged for Saturday, April 24 at the Friends Meeting House, 249 Hooker Poughkeepsie, at 2 p.m. She and her husband, Dr. Paul Soley, lived in amhrHop spvral vpar 'O' during the while he was urologist at Mary McClellan Hospital.

While in Cambridge, Mrs. Soley served as a vice president of the Womens Auxiliary of Mary McClellan Hospital, and as conservation chairman for Cambridge -Area Branch and New York Division of Womans National Farm Garden Assn. She belonged to the Friends at Easton, and also had headed the Cambridge United Fund campaign and wrote many articles about it for the Washington County Post. Besides her husband she is survived by three daughters. Dr.
