10 Tuesday, January 2, 1990 The Press Post OBITUARIES Bridge, died Dec. 19, 1989, at Mary McClellan Hospital in Cambridge. She was born Nov. 13, 1919, in Greenwich, the daughter of George and Jennie Waters Kirk. Mrs.

Foster was a member of the Cambridge United Presbyterian Church. She was employed for many years at the Asgrow Seed Co. in Cambridge. Survivors include her husband, 'Allan W. Foster of Eagle Bridge; one son, Stephen A.

Foster of Eagle Bridge; four brothers, Milton, John, Joseph and Gordon Kirk, all of Greenwich; and two grandchildren. Services were conducted Thursday evening at the Charles A. Ackley Funeral Honie in Cambridge, by the Rev. Francis Kinney, pastor of the Cambridge United Presbyterian Church. Spring buriql will be in Woodlands Cemetery in Cambridge.

Box 48, Hoosick Falls, N.Y., 12090. MARTHA LOUISE HARVEY WINDSOR LOCKS, CONN. -Martha Lousie Harvey, 58, a resident of Windsor Locks, formerly of Bennington, died Dec. 22, 1989, at the Hartford Hospital in Hartford, following a brief illness. Born Aug.

21, 1931 in Bennington, she was the daughter of the late Frank D. and Selma H. Ruebesam Thompson, both of Shaftsbury, Vt. She attended schools in Shaftsbury and graduated from North Bennington (Vt.) High School in 1949. She married Everett Harvey, formerly of North Adams, Mass.

While residing in the Bennington area, Mrs. Harvey was employed at the former E.Z. Mills for a short time, and the worked for the Union Carbide Corp.om 1952 to 1963. She moved to Windsor Locks in 1963, where she worked as a vending machine harness welder at Choice Vend of Windsor Locks. She was a former member of the Shaftsbury Methodist Church and had bowled in the Union Carbide Hospital, after a brief illness.

Born Sept. 10, 1910, in Brunswick, she was the daughter of the lte Charles A. and Mercie M. Bornt Eddy. She was the widow of the late Ralph Kimball Chase, who died Oct.

18, 1964. They were married June 23, 1930, in North Hoosick. Mr. Chase was the first fire chief of the North Hoosick Volunteer Fire Department. She was a 1928 graduate of Lan-singburgh High School in Troy and a 1929 graduate of, Hoosick Falls Normal School.

She taught in a one-room schoolhouse in Petersburg until 1932. That year, her first daughter, Margaret, was born and she became a homemaker. She lived in North Hoosick from the time of her marriage in 1930 until 1968 when she moved to the home of her daughter, Edna May Crandall, in Troy. She resided there until her death. She was a member of the United Methodist Church in North Hoosick and a member and former president of the church Womens Society.

She was a former member of the Ladies Auxiliary of the North Hoosick Volunteer Fire Department and a former member of the North Hoosick Community Center. Survivors include two sons, Charles L. Chase of North Hoosick and Richard K. Chase of Cascade, two daughters, Margaret C. Morris of Norwich and Edna May Crandall of Troy; three sisters, Lucy McKeon of Troy, Harriet Dickinson of Wynantskill and Marian Eddy of Troy; and four grandchildren.

She DONALD E. PRATT BUSKIRK Donald E. Pratt, 68, died Dec. 27, 1989, at Samaritan Hospital in Troy after a long illness. He resided with his wife, Lorraine Ganser Pratt.

Born Jan. 22, 1921 in he was son of the late Elmer Pratt and Leonora Eaton Pratt of Buskirk, who survives. Mr. Pratt was educated in schools in Hoosick Falls and served during World War II with the U.S. Army Medical Corp.

He was employed at Columbia Box Corp. in Wall-oomsac, as a machine tender until retiring in 1987. He was a member of the Buskirk Dutch Reformed Church, where he had served as a deacon. He also served as a trustee for Island Hill Cemetery. Survivors, other than his wife and mother, include a daughter, Sandra Bachand of Buskirk; a- brother, Robert E.

Pratt of Albany; nieces and nephews. Services were held Saturday at the Dutch Reformed Church in Buskirk, with the Rev. David Hall conducting the service. Entombment will be in Elmwood Cemetery in Schaghticoke, with burial to be in the spring. Memorial contributions may be made to either the Dutch Reformed Church or the Town of Hoosick Rescue Squad through the Mahar Funeral Home of Hoosick Falls.

DOROTHY EDDY CHASE TROY Dorothy Eddy Chase, 79, of 16 Woodlawn Court, formerly of Baby Lane, in North Hoosick, died Dec. 26, 1989, at Samaritan of Schuylerville, Gloria Marozin of Swansboro, N.C., Marguerite Wright of Easton and Mary Schoenecker of Saratoga Springs. Also surviving are seven grandchildren, five great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. A Mass of Christian Burial was celebrated at Notre Dame-Visitation Church, with the Rev. William F.

Lemoyne, pastor, officiating. Spring burial will be in Notre Dame Cemetery in Schuylerville. MARY SHAW HOOSICK FALLS Mary Shaw, 70, died Dec. 7, 1989, at the National Institute of Health in Bet-hesda, after a long illness. She resided on River Street in Hoosick Falls.

Mrs. Shaw was born July 2, 1919, the daughter of Cornelius and Ethel Hackett Crowley. She was the wife of the late JohriShaw, died Aug. 28, 1982. She was a graduates Hoo5jck Falls Central School.

Heis main terests were her family and homd She was a communicant of The Church of the Immaculate Conception. Survivors include a daughter, Jean Shaw of Albany; three sons, John Shaw of Austin, Texas, and James Shaw and Joseph Shaw, both of Hoosick Falls; two brothers, Harold Crowley of Hoosick Falls and C. Stewart Crowley of Phoenix, two sisters, Margaret Lewsey and Dorothy LaRoche, both of Hoosick Falls; six grandchildren, several nieces and nephews. Funeral services were held from the Mahar Funeral Home and from The Church of the Immaculate Conception, where a Mass of Christian Burial was offered. Burial followed in St.

Marys Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to the Mary McClellan Foundation through the funeral home. ALICE K. FOSTER EAGLE BRIDGE Alice K. Foster, 70, of Jodie Road in Eagle League in Bennington.

Mrs. Harvey enjoyed walking, the outdoors and was an avid dancer. Mrs. Harvey is survived by her husband, Everett Harvey of Windsor Locks; a daughter, Lynn Marie Harvey of Springfield, a son, Daniel E. Harvey of Windsor Locks; a brother, Albert Thompson of Hoosick; two sisters, Nora M.

Coonradt of Shaftsbury, Vt. and Doris A. Pratt of North Bennington, a grandson, several nieces and nephews and cousins. She is predeceased by one sister, Helen G. Harrington.

A Service of Remembrance will be held in the spring. Entombment will take place at Park Lawn Cemetery Vault, with interment to follow at the cemetery in the spring. No calling hours are scheduled. Memorial contributions may be made to the American Heart Fund or the American Cancer Society, through the office of Hanson-Walbridge Funeral Home, P.O. Box 957, Bennington, Vt.i 05201.

LILLIAN M. TAYLOR SCHUYLERVILLE Lillian M. Taylor, 85, a former Schuylerville resident, died Dec. 22,. 1989, at the Weston Hadden Convalescent Center in Bennington, after a long illness.

Born SepL 30, 1904, in Schuylerville, she was the daughter of George and Leona Lemieux Fremont. Mrs. Taylor was a communicant of Notre Dame-Visitation Church in Schuylerville, a member of Court Stella Maris No. 396 Catholic Daughters of America and a member of the Schuylerville Garden Club. She was predeceased by her husband Floyd Taylor; a daughter, Jean M.

Thorpe; three sisters, Dorothy Ryan, Rita Ruff, Beatrice Meloche; and two brothers, George L. Fremont and the Rev. Gilbert Fremont. Survivors include a son, Richard Dean Taylor of Beyreuth, Germany; a brother, Robert Fremont of Dunedin, six sisters, Leona Mason of Edgewater, Maria Foster of Greenwich, Harriet Boex BIRTHS PERKINS A son, Lucas Richard Perkins, was born to jTimothy and Michelle Cootware Perkins Dec. 13, 1989, at Mary McClellan Hospital Hospital in Cambridge.

Lucas weighed six pounds, 10 ounces and was 20 inches long at birth. Lucas has a brother, Anthony Robert, who is three years old, waiting patiently at home fo his arrival. Paternal grandparents are Richard and Betty Perkins of Middle Falls, Patricia Lynne Fleming Bride of Craig W. Hammer ELIZA LYDIA TRENHOLM MacKAY FRAMINGHAM, MASS. Eliza Lydia Trenholm MacKay, 87, formerly of Watertown, died )ec.

26, 1989, at the Framingham Cursing Home following a lengthy illness. She was the wife of the late James A MacKay, Sr. Survivors include a son John B. MacKay of South Weymouth, Mass; three daughters, Mrs. A.

Thomas (Audrey) Specht of Wellesley, Mrs. William (Dorothy) Buchanan of Cambridge and Mrs. Donald A. (Marlene) MacLeod of Framingham, one brother, Wesley Trenholm of St. John, New Brunswick; one sister, Judith Lloyd of Dartmouth, Nova Scotia; 12 grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.

A son, James a. MacKay, died before her. Services were held at the Rockwell Funeral Home in Watertown, with the Rev. Bruce Buchanan, a grandson, officiating. Expressions of sympathy may be sent to Metro-West Hospice, 50 Lawrence Framingham, 01701.

She is employed as a programmer analyst at Micah Systems in Reading, Pa. Mr. Hammer is a graduate of Hatboro-Horsham High School in Horsham, and Rider College in Lawrenceville, N.J., and is employed as an independent insurance agent at Frederick Ness, and Associates in Shillington, Pa. After a wedding trip to Bermuda, the couple will make their home in Reading, Pa. Wed Vt.

The bride is employed by the Vermont National Guard, and the groom is an employee of the University of Vermont. Falls Central School and Dartmout College in Hanover, N.H., is cui rently a student at the University Virginia School of Medicine i Charlottesville. The bridegroom graduated froi the Royal Academy of Sweden an Dartmouth College in Hanover, an is a student at the Darden School Business at the University of Vii ginia in Charlottesville. one-ljalf inches long at birth. Douglas has a two year old brother, Kenny, waiting patiently at home for his arrival.

Paternal grandmother is Donna Casey of Granville, and maternal grandparents are Ken and Shirley Breault of Granville. HENDRICKS A daughter was born to Patricia and Glenn Hendricks of Eagle Bridge, Dec. 14, 1989, at Southwestern Vermont Medical Center in Bennington, Vt. the Upsy Daisy florist and gift Sutton Century 21 Christmas which were made by the Rums. The village business which won second place was Robbies Pizzeria on Main Street, and third place went to Thorpes Pharmacy on John Street.

Each of the three winners will receive a certificate of appreciation and recognition for their participation in the contest from the real estate office located on Church Street. and maternal grandparents are Robert and Cheryl Cootware of Danby, Vt. Great-grandparents are Howard and Virginia Limbacher of Clifton Park and Alice Rexford of Colchester, Vt. CASEY A son, Douglas Thomas Casey, III, was born to Laura Breault and Doug Casey, of Granville Dec. 15, 1989, at Mary McClellan Hospital in Cambridge.

Douglas weighed six pounds, 14-and-one-half ounces and was 20-and- have a local business in the village, where they make Christmas scenery to decorate some of the major banks and store lobbies in New York City. Brian Rousseau of Upsy Daisy said that while he hoped to win the contest for the third year, he was really more interested in creating a display that residents could bring their children to see. Much of the display is centered around several moving Christmas character dolls, ti W4 rrd A Mr. and Mrs. Craig Hammer print tea-length dresses.

Best man was James Reichwein of Boston, a freind of the Stout Are Mr. and Mrs. Gerald Stout of Salem and Rupert, Vt. The couple is now residing on Canyon Estates Drive in Colchester, SALEM Patricia Lynne Fleming and Craig William Hammer were united in marriage June 17, 1989, at Holy CrosJmrch in Salem, with the Rev. Liam cDndon officiating.

Rosemary Boyd served as soloist, with Majorie Flower as organist. The bride is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. William J. Fleming of Salem.

The bridegroom is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Charles E. Hammer of North Wales, Pa. The bride chose to wear the wedding' gown of Susan Noel, sister, of the bridegroom.

Matron of honor was Lori Patrick of Salem, sister of the bride, who wore an aqua and pink floral print tea-length dress and carried a nosegay of aqua and pink roses. Bridesmaids were Anne Hoskins of King of Prussia, Louisa Lamb of Stanford, Kelly Kalkhof of Arlington, Va Kelley Sklarsky of McKees Rock, and Linda DiGiuseppantonio of Upper Darby, all friends of the bride. They wore matching aqua and pink floral Spannbauer, SOUTH BURLINGTON, VT. Tracy A. Spannbauer and Thomas K.

Stout were united in marriage in an outdoor ceremony, with Camels Hump and Mount Mansfield of the Green Mountains as a background, at the N.C.O. Club of the Vermont National Guard in South Burlington, Sept. 16, 1989. Matron of honor was M. Brehm, with Caren Echo as bridesmaid.

Both are friends and coworkers of the bride. Best man was Richard F. Irick of Colchester, with Calvin R. Stout, brother of the groom, of Salem, as attendant. A reception followed the ceremony at the N.C.O.

Club for co-workers, friends and relatives. Parents of the bride are Nancy Spannbauer of New York City and James D. Spannbauer of Schenectady.
