The Press Post Tuesday, April 18, 1989 22 Graduates from Air Force Airman Richard K. Reynolds, son of Edward K. and Karen A. Reynolds of Salem, has graduated from Air Force basic training at Lacklad Air Force Base, Texas. During the six weeks or training, the airmen studied the Air Force mission, organization and customs and received special training in human relations.

In addition, airmen who complete basic training earn credits toward an associate degree through the community college of the Air Force. He is a 1988 graduate of Salem Washington Academy. Rowland To Study at Cobleskill Gregory James Rowland, son of Lawrence and Ethyl Rowland of Cambridge, has been accepted at SUNY Cobleskill to. study animal sciencedairy production and management. Currently, Greg and his brother, Robert, are operators of a 35-head dairy farm.

During his junior and senior years of high school, Greg was a member of the football team, playing defensive tackle. He has also been active in Future Farmers of America for four years, serving as reporter during his sophomore year. Greg has also been active in 4-H for 10 years. He has shown his registered Ayrshires at many local fairs, winning several grand championships. Quenneville To Join Air Force Raymond Joseph Quenneville, the son of the late Raymond and Barbara Quenneville and stepson of H.

Douglas and Janice Lincoln of Shushan, has finalized his postgraduation plans. Ray will be serving in the U.S. Air Force to study financial management. Throughout high school, Ray has been an active member of the junior varsity, varsity and indoor soccer teams. He served on the prom committee as a junior and was crowned king of the junior prom.

Ray has also served as vice-president of his class during his senior year, as well as being a member of the track team. As a freshmen and sophomore, Ray was involved in marching band and concert band. Motsiff To Attend Cortland Paul John Motsiff, the son of Tim and Joy Motsiff of Buskirk, has finalized his post-graduation plans. Paul will be attending SUNY Cortland to major in physical education Paul J. Motsiff and sports medicine.

Paul has been following this course of study through the Unique Placement program sponsored by the Southern Adirondack Educational Center in Hudson Falls. PJ has been an avid soccer player throughout high school, serving as co-captain as a junior and captain as a senior. He has been a member of the varsity and intramural soccer teams and has served as a referee and coach for three years. In the summer of his senior year, he was a member of the HBC Eagles Traveling Soccer Team and was a part of the Spartan All Tournament Team and Capitol District All Stars. PJ has also been a member of the junior varsity and varsity basketball teams throughout high school, has served as vice-president of his class as a sophomore and has been involved on the prom and yearbook committees, as well as being a staff member on the Whatever school magazine staff.

He was involved in the peer leadership program as a junior and has been a cast member in the last two school musicals. As a senior, PJ was named to Whos Who Among American High School Students. Wright Earns Certification Elizabeth Wright Hogan, formerly of Hoosick Falls, has recently passed college credit courses at Central Florida Community College and state courses offered by the Florida Corrections System. She is now state certified as an assistant corrections officer and employed by the Marion County Sheriffs Department. A former graduate of St.

Marys Academy, she is the daughter of Howard Wright, of East Hoosick, and the late Isabelle Dwyer Wright. She now resides in Silver Springs Shores, Ocala, with her husband, Kevin. Sargood Graduates From Air Force Training Airman Edward J. Sargood, son of Mr. and Mrs.

Competes in Ms.Vermont Pageant JoAnn Sprague of Hoosick Falls competed in the Ms. Vermont Pageant held in Burlingon, on April 2. She competed in three categories; modeling, beauty, and photogenic and received a trophy for first runner-up in the beauty division, a trophy for second runner-up in the modeling and a certificate of most photognic in the last competition. She has also been invited to compete in the next pageant, which will be held at the Poconos in Pennsylvania evening they attended the Simsbury Opera Company presention of the opera Pirates of Penzance at the Simsbury High School. Nancy, a soprano, sang the lead role of Mable.

Easter in Kingston Edwin Andrew spent the Easter weekend with his son-in-law and daugher, Mr. and Mrs. Harlow De-Forest, and family in Kingston. Weekend in Champlain Mrs. George Chapin spent the weekend with Mr.

and Mrs. Eugene Brady in Champlain. While there, they attended the St. Albans (Vt.) Naval Festival. Guest for a Week Mrs.

Walter Brown of Milford, was a guest last week of Mrs. Thomas Tellier. Home from California Virginia Everett is at home after spending two months visiting her brother, Leonard Everett, and family in Tucson, and friends in LaJolla, Calif. Retirement Party Given A retirement party for Issie McGuire was held at th V.F.W. on April 8.

She was with the Hoosick Falls Health Center for 28 years. About 40 guests were present as were her children and grandchildren. She received gifts as well as flowers and also a money tree. She-will be missed by all the residents as. well as all of those who worked with hen'1' in October with all fees and expense paid by the Vermont pageant.

JoAnn is a sales-marketing secretary at the Fluorglas Division of Allied-Signal, Inc. in Hoosick Falls. Moseleys Join IMPACT Group Roger and Anabel Moseley of Buskirk were among nearly 500 local religious leaders who gathered in Washington, D.C. recently to examine the major issues facing the United States in the Bush Administration and the new decade of the 1990s. Thpy came from 49 states and 24 national religious organizations.

National IMPACT, which organizes this event, is a coalition, including 13 national Protestant denominations, Reform Jews and Roman Catholics. For 17 years IMPACT has coordinated the cooperative work of these religious groups as they alert their local people to national legislation on which they make common policy recommendations. Stinner Hospitalized Bernard Stinner of Kingston, a former Cambridge resident, is a patient in Kingston Hospital on Broadway, Kingston, N.Y., 12401, where he is receiving treatment for a heart attack. He was in the LC.U. unit for two weeks, and on April 4, was moved to Room 301.

He would be pleased to receive cards from former Cambridge friends. He was a teacher at Cambridge Central School for several years and owned the Stinner Homestead in Coila. The Stinners reside at 947 Orlando Kingston, N.Y., 12401. Return from Arizona Vacation Mrs. Rita J.

Powers and Patricia Adams of Hoosick have returned after visiting Steve and Cathy Burger of Tucson, Ariz. Mrs. Powers and daughters spent a few days traveling around Arizona, enjoying many places of interest and onto Las Vegas where they stayed at the Bally Hotel Casino. Mr. Burger is a captain for American Airlines out of Chicago, 111.

Named Agent of the Year William J. Brundige, of William J. Brundige Insurance in Troy, has been named agent of the year in the capital sales district by Nationwide Insurance Company. The award recognizes outstanding production in all lines of insurance. Brundige also qualified for Nationwides Champion Award.

Brundige resides in Grafton with his wife, Nancy and their children, Jay and Stacy.
