Tuesday, December 19, 1989 10 The Press Post OBITUARIES and former elder of the United Church (Presbyterian) of Greenwich. Survivors include his wife of 51 years, Pearl Woodard Crozier; one daughter, Mrs. David Long of New York City; two brothers, Samuel Crozier, of Queensbury and John Crozier of Argyle; one sister, Margaret Smith of Saratoga Springs; and several nieces and nephews. A memorial service was conducted Thursday at the United Church of Greenwich by the Rev. David Robinson, pastor.

Spring burial will be in the Greenwich Cemetery. Arrangements were by the Flynn Brothers Funeral Home, of Greenwich. The family suggests that memorials take the form of donations to the United Church of Greenwich or the American Cancer Society. Spring interment will be in St. Patricks Cemetery in Cambridge.

The family suggests that memorials take the form of donations to the Cambridge Valley Rescue Squad. PATRICIA ANNE KEESE CAMBRIDGE Patricia Anne Keese, 40, of Shields Road, a former nurse and wife of Frank M. Keese, died Dec. 9, 1989, at St. Marys Hospital in Troy after a long illness.

Born in Troy, she was the daughter of John W. and Theresa Gravel Daley of Speigletown. Mrs. Keese was a graduate of Lansingburgh High School and had been a nurse at St. Marys Hospital in Troy prior to 1977.

She was founder and owner-operator of Cinnamons Kitchen Specialty Shop in Bennington, while residing in Hoosick Falls from 1977 to 1984. Mrs. Keese was director of operations for Foxhill Interiors, a design firm in Bedford, N.H., and also past president of the Newcomers Club of Amherst, N.H. Survivors, in addition to her husband and parents, include two sons, Matthew S. McLoughlin and Jonathan D.

Keese and a daughter, Elizabeth D. Keese, all of Cambridge; three sisters, Susan Jewett of Wynantskill, Jacqueline Polanck of Waterford and Tracey Martel of Lake Worth, and two brothers, Stephen Daley of East Greenbush and Paul Daley of Troy. The funeral was Wednesday from Riverview Funeral Home in Lansingburgh and from St. Patricks Church in Troy. Interment was in Oakwood Cemetery in Troy.

RICHARD J. CROZIER GREENWICH Richard J. Cro-zier, 78, of 3 Forest St. in Greenwich, died Dec. 11, 1989, at Glens Falls Hospital, after a long illness.

He was born Nov. 25, 1911, in Greenwich, the son of Samuel and Margaret Neill Crozier. He was a life-long resident of Greenwich. Mr. Crozier loved walking for exercise and Fishing for enjoyment.

He was employed by the Stevens and Thompson Paper Co. for 42 years, retiring in 1973. During World War II, he served with the United States Army in an antiaircraft unit in the Pacific Theatre. Mr. Crozier was active in many civic duties in Greenwich.

He was a 55-year member and past master of Ashlar Lodge, No. 584, Free and Accepted Masons, and a member Mrs. Blanchfield was employed as a nurse for many years at Mary McClellan Hospital in the maternity department. Survivors include her husband, Herman J. Blanchfield of Cambridge; three sons, John R.

Blanchfield of Cambridge, James L. Blanchfield of Clifton Park, and Herman Joseph Blanchfield, of South Cambridge; and six grandchildren. Services were conducted Monday at the Charles A. Ackley Funeral Home in Cambridge, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at St. Patricks Church in Cambridge.

Spring burial will be in St. Patricks Cemetery in Cambridge. The family suggests that memorials take the form of donations to the Mary McClellan Hospital Scholarship Fund or the maternity department of the hospital. THOMAS L. TILLEY CAMBRIDGE Thomas L.

Tilley, 81, died Dec. 7, 1989, at Mary McClellan Hospital in Cambridge after a long illness. He was born July 19, 1908, in Hinesburg, the son of Ray and Letta LePreese Tilley. Mr. Tilley was a retired iron ore miner in Mineville.

He was a communicant of St. Patricks Church of Cambridge. Mr. Tilley was a member of the Knights of Columbus of Port Henry. His wife, Ellen DeLorge Tilley, died before him.

Survivors include two sons, Thomas R. Tilley of Glens Falls and Ray D. Tilley of Cambridge; three daughters, Shirley Trombley of Harrisville, Arlene Pepper of Chazy and Barbara Trombley of Argyle; one sister, Esther Wheeler of Spokane, several grandchildren, great-grandchildren; and nieces and nephews. Services were conducted Monday at the Charles A. Ackley Funeral Home of Cambridge, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial celebrated in St.

Patricks Church in JOHN R. CRONIN TROY John R. Cronin, 78, died Dec. 9, 1989, at his residence after a long illness. Born in Hoosick Falls, he was the son of the late William F.

and Louise Grant Cronin and the late Olive Welch Cronin. Mr. Cronin was a graduate of Hoosick Falls High School, Albany Business College and the Troy Conservatory of Music. He also graduated from Oberlin College in Cleveland, Ohio. He retired from the New York State Department of Motor Vehicles and was the former proprietor of Bentley and Cronin Grill at Clums Corners.

Mr. Cronin was a communicant of St. Augustines Church in Troy, a member of the Troy Senior Citizens and American Federation of Musicians. Survivors include a daughter, Alice Elwell of Troy; a son, Cpl. John J.

Cronin U.S.M.C. of Washington, D.C.; a brother, William F. Cronin of Hoosick Falls; and several grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Funeral services were from the Frank P. McDonald and Son, Funeral Home of Troy and St.

Augustines Church, where a Mass of Resurrection was offered. Burial was in St. Peters Cemetery in Troy. Donations in his memory may be made to Hospice of St. Peters Hospital in Albany.

SARA CAROLINE AGAN BLANCHFIELD CAMBRIDGE Sara Caroline Agan Blanchfield, 73, died Dec. 8, 1989, at Mary McClellan Hospital in Cambridge, after a long illness. She was born in Cambridge on Aug. 3, 1916, the daughter of John and Ada Boyer Agan. Mrs.

Blanchfield was a life-long resident of Cambridge. She was a graduate of Cambridge High School, Class of 1936, and St. Peters Hospital School of Child Care in Albany. She was a communicant of St. Patricks Church of Cambridge.

BIRTHS DACCHILLE A daughter, Michaela Irene, was born to Lisa and Jerry DAcchille, Nov. 11, 1989, in Waltham, Mass. She weighed seven pounds, 13 ounces and was 20-and-one-half inches long. Michaela has a brother, Jerry Jacob. Her maternal grandparents are Irene and Robert Headwell, Sr.

Her maternal great-grandparents are Viola and Howard Worner and Edith Headwell of Cambridge. Her maternal great-great-grandmother is Mary L. Sardi of Forth Lee, N.J. Her paternal grandparents are Carol and Jerry DAcchille, and her paternal great-grandparents are Mary and Jerome DAcchille, all of Hoosick Falls. VALENTINE A daughter, Elizabeth Ann, was born Dec.

1, 1989, to Donna and David Valentine of Potsdam, at the Canton-Potsdam Hospital. 1989, at Mary McClellan Hospital in Cambridge. Cassidy weighed seven pounds, 15 ounces and was 20 inches long at birth. Cassidy has a sister, Courtney Shea Hughes, waiting patiently at home for her arrival. Paternal grandparents are John and Loretta Shea Hughes of Greenwich, and maternal grandparents are Raymond J.

Yandow and the late Sarah Courtney Yandow of Middle Falls. PHLIPSAK A son, Jeremy Edward Phlipsak, was born to Joseph and Maggie Phlipsak of Cambridge, Nov. 28, 1989, at Mary McClellan Hospital in Cambridge. Jeremy weighed eight pounds, 10 ounces and was 21-and-one-quarter inches long. Jeremy has a brother, Lucas Gregory, waiting patiently at home for his arrival.

Paternal grandparents are Vita Phlipsak and the late William Phlipsak of Ballston Spa. Maternal grandparents are Wilfred and Helen Sisk of Schenectady. KALINOWSKI A son was born to Shirley and Cyril Kalinowski of Hoosick Falls, Dec. 4, 1989, at Southwestern Vermont Medical Center in Bennington, Vt. CALOIA A daughter was born to Dorothy and Raphael Caloia of Hoosick Falls, Dec.
